What is the Greenbelt Festival?
The annual Greenbelt Festival was originally set up in the 1970s by a group of non-conformists with a focus on the arts and rock music.
Greenbelt subsequently broadened its outlook to one of global justice — inviting speakers and performers from around the world to share in this vision.
The festival now attracts some 21,000 people each year, from all ages and backgrounds. They come to be challenged by a wide range of speakers, artists and organisations — all united in their Biblical vision of global justice.
It is also a great place for meeting old friends and new in the numerous coffee bars and green spaces on Cheltenham racecourse!
The Retreat Association at Greenbelt
The Retreat Association has held a stand at Greenbelt for the last four years, alongside a wide variety of Christian organisations. It is a great way to highlight what we do and how we may be able to help people in their spiritual journey. We hope to see you there in 2013!
