The selected five may be uncomfortable with organised religion but share in common a deep desire to re-connect with their past, themselves and God though silence and contemplation.
The consequences are far reaching. As one participant explained, "I was hit with such a profound sense of wonder, awe, wellbeing that I'm lost for words to describe it."

A team of highly experienced spiritual mentors from St Beuno's Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Denbighshire, Loyola Hall in Merseyside, The Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Glasgow and Campion Hall in Oxford shared the journey and helped the participants to find the silence of their hearts.

The narrator was Fr Christopher Jamieson from Worth Abbey in Sussex, who was featured in
The Monastery and was a guest speaker at the 2008 Retreat Association Conference.
