Retreat House Wardens

The Retreat Association has many years' experience of working with Christian-based retreat centres in order to support their work. Through this partnership, retreat centres also enable the Retreat Association to support individuals and groups looking for a retreat.

We offer a number of services to help retreat centres:

Retreats Handbook

Our annual Retreats Handbook lists over 200 retreat centres across and beyond the UK and is a unique publication for all those interested in Christian spirituality. It is available in Christian bookshops, retreat centres and directly from the office, as well as being sold as an eBook. It is possible to list your retreat centre in the handbook (see below)

Membership

Listing your retreat centre details in the handbook is free if you are a member of the Retreat Association or any one of its denominational group. Annual subscription rates vary according to the size of your centre.

Advertising

It is possible to advertise separately in our handbook (where members receive a 10% discount on rates) and on our website. We also have a Job Vacancy page.

Find a Retreat

One of the most popular parts of our website is 'Find a Retreat', which is viewed around 9000 times per month. This contains direct links to retreat centre websites. Retreat centres can be included on these pages for an annual fee.

Networking

Alongside the Association of Christian Retreat Houses, we provide regional networking days for retreat house wardens and staff. These offer the opportunity to network, share expertise and receive training.

If you cannot find what you are looking for here, please contact us.

Partnership

We invite retreat centres to work in partnership with us to organise training days and quiet days at their centres. These popular days encourage the work of the centre and also offer opportunities for training and reflection to the local community.
