Part of my cottage but a private space for you. Ground floor; entrance porch, twin bedroom, separate bathroom. First floor; small well equipped kitchen and a large lounge with a log burner and a single sofa bed. Self Catering. Sorry not suitable for wheelchairs but pets and children welcome. Suggested donation for stay £20 per person per night. Stay length flexible. Off road parking sufficient for 2 cars.

I have lived at The Retreat since 1984 and have been welcoming people to the ‘peastwing’ extension since 1995. The nearest shops are 5miles away and it is a very rural area. Cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester are 20 miles away. Ideal for self-led retreats. The Wildlife garden and meadow have steep paths! Plenty of walks (but be prepared for mud, nettles and brambles!) No TV and mobile/wifi unreliable. However there are plenty of books, jigsaws etc and a bird feeder attracting woodpeckers, nuthatches and bluetits that you can watch whilst cosy by the log burner. All bed linen and towels are provided so come and spend time to be instead of do.
