St Nicholas was decommissioned as an Anglican country church in 2004. Now fully renovated with disabled facilities it has become a drop-in prayer and daytime retreat centre. Set in a very rural area overlooking the estuary and the Welsh mountains. Easily accessible, 1 mile north of the A39, it offers quiet space, beautiful views, half/full-day retreat opportunities for the individual, pairs or groups (max 12). The mezzanine and vestry provide wholly private spaces for reflection and prayer. Affiliated to the Quiet Garden Movement and Ancient Monuments Association. There is also an ever-growing library with a children’s section. We specialise in lectio divina (praying the Scriptures) and can offer spiritual direction.
