Retreat Centre Description
Llangasty Retreat House is a Christian centre and a place for individuals and groups to develop their spirituality by means of retreats, conferences and study groups. Whilst Anglican in foundation, we are ecumenical in outlook. The House is a sympathetically extended Victorian rectory set in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, just off the A40, 6 miles east of Brecon and overlooking Lake Llangors.
It is set in surroundings of peace, beauty and tranquillity, with wildlife in abundance that never fails to catch the
retreatant’s attention. Llangasty Retreat House is an ideal place for the individual to get away from the stresses and
strains of modern-day life. The views from the lounge window entice you to sit, relax and marvel at God’s creation.
Accommodation on Offer
10 single rooms and 6 twin rooms (including 2 ground floor rooms with wheelchair access and ensuite facilities) accommodating a maximum of 22. Ground floor Chapel and smaller crypt Chapel, 2 day rooms i.e. sitting room and library, plus dining room/servery.
The ground floor does not have any steps and is particularly accessible for people with mobility issues and wheelchair users.
