Childswickham House is the home of House of the Open Door, a lay ecumenical community and retreat centre. We are in a quiet village location on the edge of the Cotswolds. Our facilities are set around a courtyard going into 2 acres of garden. Our ethos is that we are 'a house of prayer for all nations', and our aim is to provide a place where Christians can be blessed and refreshed in body and soul. 5 upstairs rooms accommodating 2 to 4 guests, 1 double room downstairs. No en suites (2 bathrooms upstairs, accessible shower/toilet downstairs), sitting room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering with cooker, 2 ovens, microwave, 2 fridges, freezer, dishwasher, tea/coffee in all rooms.
The Cottage
Single room downstairs, triple and quadruple upstairs, sitting room downstairs, kitchen downstairs for self-catering with cooker, fridge, microwave, tea/coffee in all rooms, bathroom upstairs, shower/toilet downstairs.
Rooms can be booked as singles by arrangement.
