Retreat Centre Description
The Briery is a place of spiritual renewal where those who come can find God in an atmosphere of love, prayer, healing and peace. We invite you to share the tranquillity of our house in the Yorkshire Dales town of Ilkley, where all are welcomed with friendliness and compassion, and can enjoy our lovely grounds as well as the surrounding moors. We offer Days of Reflection, Preached Retreats and IGRs, and we welcome those seeking a quiet day for prayer or a private retreat. We can also accommodate groups who require peace and space for their training/study days, and self-programming groups of all denominations. We run a number of parish retreats throughout the year. Ongoing spiritual direction and supervision are available.
Accommodation on Offer
25 rooms over 3 floors (22 ensuite, 3 with private bathrooms) including singles, twin and doubles.
Fully accessible ground floor rooms; all first floor rooms are accessible by lift.
There is a flat with living area in the house, plus a 3-bedroom self-catering cottage in the grounds.
