Monastery of the Holy Trinity

We are an Anglican enclosed contemplative Order with a clear ecumenical outreach working and praying for the unity of Christians, and especially between the Eastern and Western halves of Christendom which is reflected in our liturgical texts..

Our life emphasises the importance of silence, solitude and stillness. Guest can join in the Community's liturgical life as much as they choose. Meals are eaten together with the Community. There are extensive grounds and woods to walk in, with a local famer caring for sheep and other animals in the surrounding fields.

The opportunity offered to guests is to grow in the life of prayer through participating in the ordered life of the Community. A particular feature of the life of prayer offered here is the recitation of the Jesus Prayer on three evenings a week.
