Retreat Centre Description

Our large Retreat House adjoins the main house of the Community of the Resurrection, an Anglican monastic community founded at the end of the 19th Century. It is set in 20 acres of grounds overlooking the Calder Valley. There is a rose garden with pond; a small orchard; woodland and a labyrinth. Guests are welcome to join in worship with the brothers in the Community church: plainsong daily offices and a daily Eucharist . In addition to our programmed retreats we welcome individual retreat guests; parish groups; external / commercial events; conferences; day groups; sabbatical stays. Concessions are available on application.
