Peace Place

Peace Place is a 3 acre smallholding and wildflower meadow, one mile from sandy beaches and St. Peters Chapel, built in 654AD, a liminal, tranquil place of worship on the tip of Essex. Peace place offers a combination of access to the living natural world, with chickens and goats and meditation/prayer space, including a circular prayer path built into the land. Full privacy is an option or conversation with the Christian hosts who offer the opportunity for daily shared prayer and spiritual exercises with devotional movement, under the trees. We follow the Celtic Daily Prayer of the Northumbria community and A Course in Miracles. Accommodation: one smalll, cosy caravan is available, or self catering camping; one cooked meal a day can be provided. There is a small boolshop on site.
