The Fold is nestled on a hillside, surrounded by 10 acres of meadows, orchard, and garden, with stunning mountain views, at the border of England and Wales. Guests find it the ideal spot for peaceful, restful, restorative stays, and from which to explore the ancient landscape, villages and towns, of the Welsh Marches. Notable churches, castles, pilgrimage walking routes are all within walking distance, or a short drive away.

Guests are invited to join us for silent meditation, in the Christian Tradition, each weekday morning 9.00-9.30am. Tina is an experienced retreat leader, published author, and has taught meditation practice for the World Community for Christian Meditation – a charity we support.

As a trained spiritual director, Tina also offers a one-hour spiritual direction session per retreat, plus online spiritual direction support.

We are open throughout the year. Bursaries are available for those who would otherwise be unable to retreat, and 10% reductions offered to those in, or training for, ministry.
