Retreat Centre Description

At Treargel we provide self-catering accommodation for those who want to 'Breathe Deeply, rest quietly, and think clearly' in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We offer a safe, inclusive space for those wanting to take time out, to think about a cross-road, wrestle a question or deconstruct a long-held belief. Built on a Christian tradition we welcome those of all faith or none, regardless of sexuality, race or ability. (Though, unfortunately, our ancient buildings are not wheelchair accessible).

Accommodation on Offer

Byre single-floor stone cottage. 1 double (or twin), plus 1 twin (small bunkbeds), lounge/kitchen/diner. Shower in bath. All mod cons, wood-burning stove, and sea view.

Piggery single-floor stone cottage. 1 double, lounge/diner, kitchen, walk-in shower, and wood-burning stove. All mod cons, woodburning stove, and private courtyard.

Shepherd's Hut Off-grid hut made from reclaimed materials. Twin bed, kitchenette, gas camping stove, table and chairs. Compost toilet nearby. No heating, but lots of blankets and hot water bottles. Gorgeous long views over fields to the sea.

Hermitage off-grid wood cabin located deep in woodlands, by pond. 1 double bed. Wood-burning stove, desk and rocking chair. Kitchenette with gas camping stove. Compost toilet next door.

The Hermitage and Shepherd's Hut share an outdoor shower.

All have access to our wild garden, woods, stone Cretan labyrinth, and the SW Coastal Path. Plus our very friendly Golden Retriever.
