Retreat Centre Description
We simply offer a place to retreat, rest and find space to just 'be' with God, letting him do the ministering - and he does! We have plenty of varied Christian books to dip into, a lovely peaceful chapel, gardens down to the river Waveney with a summerhouse to sit in and enjoy God's creation. In the garden we also have a reflective trail based on Psalm 23, which has been developed by the Bible Society, particularly good to help you reflect on God's goodness and peace and to inspire your thoughts. Twice daily we have a time of reflection together using the Lectio 365 daily reflections. In the morning we also have some prayer and praise together. In the grounds have developed a creative space, which will hopefully bless people in a variety of crafts and disciplines. If needed we do offer a listening ear.
Accommodation on Offer
The Georgian House has nine rooms some with on-suite facilities. We have a purpose built wing n the ground floor with disabled facilities and a wet room. There is a Quiet Room which can be used for Day Guests or by those staying overnight. A small chapel has a keyboard where individuals can pray or praise the Lord. In our lounge guests can read or share with others and this is alongside a guest kitchen where they can prepare drinks throughout the day. Our dining room is used for breakfast and two course lunches. We serve a Tea Box for an evening meal or a buffet for groups. The house is set in two acres of land boardering the river Waveney with ample space to sit and be with the Lord. Parking is onsite and a bus stop is 200 meters away.

2024 Events
All Christian Faiths are welcome at Quiet Waters. Guests usually attend up to a week at a time, some who fast and pray others who use it for a renewing of their faith.
Day Guests Book to be alone with the Lord and to be blessed.
We offer a variety of Art and Craft retreats which can be found via our website at certain times of the year. Some are resident and others are just for a day. Events are faith based and include -

In 2023 an Advent retreat was arranged where the excitment of the coming of Christ mingles with the jolity of the season.
