Worth Abbey Retreat Centre
Retreat Centre Description
Worth Abbey is home to a community of Benedictine monks. The monks express the gospel through a community life of prayer and service. the site is also the home of Worth School founded by the community , who share a large portion of the campus. At the centre of the site is Worth Abbey chuch which is a couple of minutes' walk from the Retreat Centre and is the wonderful spiritual hub for the whole community.
Nestled within 500 acres of breathtaking West Sussex countryside, Worth Abbey is a sanctuary where you can truly rest, refresh, and reflect.
Stay in our purpose-built Retreat Centre, St Bruno's, where a warm welcome, nourishing food, and comfortable accommodation await you.
Whether you are seeking a deeper connection with God, time away to recharge, or simply the stillness of nature, our doors are open to all of every faith and none who long for peace in the heart of a Catholic monastic community.
Our retreat programme offers a rich variety of residential and day retreats, with the flexibility for groups to create and lead their own.
Come and discover the beauty of silence, prayer, and reflection at Worth Abbey, a place where your soul can breathe again.
