Set in the Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, Sycamores Christian Retreat is a place of rest and renewal for those seeking to follow Jesus more closely. Hosted by Tim and Liz Bryan, Sycamores offers a range of short retreats with varying degrees of input, depending on the theme, but all built around the rhythm of morning and evening prayer and an evening communal meal. Set on the side of Carding Mill Valley, Sycamores has 56 steps to the front door and requires a degree of mobility to be accessed.
Accommodation on Offer
Sycamores was until recently a family home with two double bedrooms, a twin and an ensuite double/twin. There is also a separate bathroom and shower room, both with toilets. Sycamores also has a self-contained ground floor flat with kitchenette and bathroom which links internally with the main house. The main floor of the house has large kitchen, lounge and dining rooms, together with an additional toilet in the lobby area. The back garden is terraced with areas to eat or relax and there is also a sauna/shower available.
