Retreat Centre Description

The Ignatian Spirituality team at the LJC offers retreat days and retreats in daily life, in person and online, and spiritual direction for lay people and clergy.

The Centre also runs courses and events in theology and social and environmental justice issues. We aim to be of service to the Church in London and beyond by proclaiming the gospel through adult formation. We also run lectures and seminars under the banner of the Heythrop Institute.
The Centre has rooms available for hire suitable for any number between two and eighty people. We also offer overnight accommodation for Church related individuals and groups.

We are also home to the Heythrop Library (established 1614), one of the largest collections of theology and philosophy in Europe. The Library is open to researchers, academics, students, and those with a serious interest in theology, philosophy and related disciplines.
