Retreat Centre Description

The Ignatian Spirituality team at the LJC offers in-person retreat days at the centre in Mayfair, as well as online evening prayer and retreats in daily life, in person and online.

The Centre also runs courses and events in Ignatian spirituality, theology and social and environmental justice issues. We aim to be of service to the Church in London and beyond by proclaiming the gospel through adult formation. We also run lectures and seminars under the banner of the Heythrop Institute.
The Centre has rooms available for hire suitable for any number between two and eighty people. We also offer overnight accommodation in 9 en-suite single and double rooms for Church related individuals and groups.

We are also home to the Heythrop Library (established 1614), one of the largest collections of theology and philosophy books in Europe. The Library is open to researchers, academics, students, and those with a serious interest in theology, philosophy and related disciplines.
