Retreat Centre Description
Llannerchwen, 3 miles north of Brecon, is situated in a secluded setting with panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. It is a place of great stillness and spiritual atmosphere, and is ideally suited for those seeking a time of solitary contemplation. There is a small Chapel with the Blessed Sacrament and a recently-built cabin for creative arts.
Those wishing to have a non-residential day of prayer are welcome to book for any of dates listed below under 'Solitude'.
There are 7 single rooms, of which 3 are stand-alone hermitages. The other 4 are also self-contained and are located in 3 different buildings. One of these is mobility-friendly. All rooms have their own private entrance and all are en-suite. All have a fully equipped kitchen, including an electric cooker, microwave and fridge.
