Retreat Centre Description
Llannerchwen, 3 miles north of Brecon, is situated in a secluded setting with panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. It is a place of great stillness and spiritual atmosphere, and is ideally suited for those seeking a time of solitary contemplation. There is a small Chapel with the Blessed Sacrament, a cabin for creative arts, a garden room for private prayer or group reflection, and a small meeting room for up to 6 people.
Those wishing to have a non-residential day of prayer are welcome to book for any of dates listed below under 'Solitude'.
Full Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius can be arranged, on request, either as a 30-day residential retreat or in 3 residential blocks of 10 days, over a period of several months. The 19th Annotation version is also available, either in person or online.
There is also some opportunity for small group retreats, at times when there are no individual retreatants on site.
Accommodation on Offer
6 single, of which 3 are stand-alone hermitages. Remaining 3 are self-contained units in two different buildings. All accommodation is self-contained and has its own front door. All accommodation has a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge. All individuals and groups are self-catering.
There is a small Chapel, a creative arts cabin and a garden room for private prayer or group reflection.
There is one room available for individual spiritual accompaniment sessions and also for small groups of up to 6 people.
