Retreat Centre Description
The Friars is home to a small community of Carmelite Friars (RC). Set in beautiful grounds, with a Shrine and several chapels, it is a place of pilgrimage and prayer, open to all. Visitors are welcome individually or in groups and all are welcome to join the daily community services. Parish groups can reserve a chapel for their own service if required. A full programme of retreats including some non-residential day talks is offered throughout the year. Please contact Reception for further details or visit our website www.thefriars.org.uk.
