Notes
Practical retreats are offered in the context of joining in with community life. Conversations are welcomed. We are an ecumenical community with an Anglican foundation. Prayer, hospitality and work have been our focus for 67 years. The 17th-century manor house is set in 13 acres of land where we live out a sustainable lifestyle. It is beautiful but is 6 miles from the nearest bus! About 20–30 people live together, many of whom have poor mental health and some are recovering from addiction. We are a strictly dry and drug free household. We have a sacramental and contemplative prayer life with daily offices held 4 times a day in our church and the house chapel
