The Retreat House is our own home which we run as a Quiet Place and Retreat. Set in glorious Shropshire countryside we open Little Detton seeking to share the peace of this place and God's blessing with others. Beautiful views, restful garden with Prayer House and smallholding with Shetland Cattle, Jacob Sheep, Rare Breed Pigs, Chickens, Ducks and our Collie, Panda. We are dedicated to be as nature-friendly and self-sufficient as possible, we raise our animals and work the land as respectfully as we can with no chemicals. We recognise the many benefits that countryside living and being around animals can give to people's wholeness and healing and want to offer these experiences to others. During the year various smallholding activities can be open for visitors to join in with by arrangement. We can also offer various crafts - rustic woodwork, blacksmithing, working with wool straight from the fleece, felting, beadwork; art materials are available. Pets welcome by prior arrangement
