Rooms
We can accommodate 38 people residentially in 23 bedrooms.
St Katharine’s main building 4 single (sharing 2 showers/toilets), 3 double en suite, 8 twin en suite (accommodating 26 people in total). All bedrooms are on the first floor.
On the ground floor of St Katharine’s there is a chapel which can accommodate up to 60 people, dining room seating up to 36, 2 lounges (for up to 10 and 16 people), library and a separate prayer room.
St Joseph’s annexe 4 single, 3 twin (accommodating 10 people), plus 3 separate toilet/shower rooms and a lounge/dining/kitchen area. An ideal self-catering option for a group of up to 10 people.
Gardener’s Flat adjoining the annexe 1 double, lounge/dining area, fully-fitted kitchen, bathroom and private garden. Ideal for a sabbatical retreat
Notes
An oasis of peace set in 9 acres of grounds in the rural tranquillity of the Chilterns. Everyone is welcome through our doors whether of faith or not, clergy or lay. Individuals and groups can make use of the space we offer for self-led quiet days, retreats or meetings. We also offer a programme of led retreats and quiet days throughout the year – please visit our website for more details when they are available.
Our catering team provides lovely fresh food cooked on the premises which enables us to cater for most dietary requirements.
We also have a peaceful walled garden that retreatants are able to wander around.
Situated 7 miles from High Wycombe and Henley-on-Thames and 5 miles from Marlow. We are easily accessible from the M4/M40 or by taxi from local train stations. For details of what we offer and our programme of events please see our website
