The Chemin Neuf Community is an international Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation and with members from many different Christian denominations. It was founded in France in 1973 and stems from the charismatic renewal and Ignatian Spirituality. The community offers a friendly welcome at The Priory on the edge of the South Downs. IGRs on request according to availability. Unless specified otherwise, all retreats are led by members of Chemin Neuf. The community has a special mission (CANA) to couples and families. For 1 week in summer, at Sclerder Abbey our house in Cornwall, couples can enjoy time together to pray, share and reflect while their children follow their own programme. The Priory with its chapel is also available for day events accommodating up to 40 people
