Our Summer Event was a wonderful day – exploring the theme of Searching for Peace in the midst of the world with our guest speaker Richard Carter.

 

Richard is Associate Vicar at St Martin-in-the-Fields who has lived a life of contemplation and his talk was a rich exploration of the importance of place, encounter, stillness and silence.

 

The day also included the opportunity to share and listen in groups and a lively Q & A session with Richard, facilitated by our patron Graham Sparkes.

All this took place within the beautiful grounds of the Royal Foundation of St Katharine.
